Homelyzer Proptech Startup
Homelyzer is an online platform that helps users discover real estate investment opportunities in the US by providing detailed financial analysis and growth projections based on various scenarios. With future features in the works, it will also provide cost estimates for home improvement projects.
When I joined the team as the lead UX designer, I dove into both research and design. I began by understanding the needs of our users through systematic research and helped prioritize important features that would be implemented in different phases of development. Next, I focused on building a solid foundation for the design by creating a design system that was flexible across different platforms, consistent, and practical for both designers and developers to use. This design system included guidelines for typography, color, spacing, and other elements to ensure consistency throughout the user interface. After that, I moved on to design the mobile experience. I used a user-centered approach to create interfaces that incorporated feedback from research. I also took into account the scalability aspect, ensuring that the design would adapt well to the desktop platform in future phases of development.
My goal was to create a user-friendly interface that is easy to navigate and understand, while also providing a visually appealing experience that would appeal to potential individual and institutional real estate investors.
